Japanese Bath sulky stem where you’d just press a button, and it would fill with hot water the Temperature of your choice. Here in England I have to sit on a stoll and put my hand in, and watching till the water fills and stop it before it floods over. I can use my time studying instead of watching the bathtub fill!
Since you mentioned conveniences, convenience stores like in Japan. 😀 Of course the noodle shops, sushi places, even Yoshinoya where you can get a decent meal at a very good price. The mass transit system is second to none on the planet. Being so close to a lot of friends in Tokyo as well as great food choices, cafes, meet-ups with friends.
