I was and it wasn’t that difficult. Lived in Tokyo 20 years after graduating from uni. I absolutely love Japan and I’ll always cherish my time there and can hopefully return one day to live there again, but I think haafu would do well to go overseas for university and then work in the country of their uni before they return to Japan, if they do. Just to experience something besides just education in another country…to get a different perspective!
