Making my art degree project about hâfus ! It made me meet a lot of mixed people, talking about their experiences and reflecting together about the hâfu status. It seems that a lot of us are struggling with our identities, but really embracing the fact that we are mixed seems like a good starting point ! 😀
Is there any final answer to the question “who am I ?”

Allocated an hour every morning to think about myself. Kept thinking deeply and wrote down what I have so far accomplished in life and why I was able to do so. After a few months, I got my answer and it made sense.
    毎朝1時間、自分の事を考える時間を設けました。これまでにやり遂げた事、それを実現できた理由を深く考え、書きとめました。数ヶ月後にようやく答えが得られました。

I am a Korean hapa living in America, I’ve recently started learning Korean. My mom hadn’t ever taught me, wanting me to have an easier life than she did as a Korean immigrant, but nowadays she’s helping and encouraging me to connect to both sides.
