🙁
I’m fluent (maybe 4.5?) but it’s a case of ‘use it or lose it’ :(( Once I get to Japan it’s all good. Should get NHK satellite broadcast. Or anyone know of any streaming services?
I get by.
I speak Japanese like a drunken Neanderthal, so 1. Instead I survive Japan by communicating in a mixture of phrases my mouth can weave in combination with gestures, English loan words, symbols, pictures and Google Translate. In dire situations, I have the aid of interpreters.
4/5 = もうペラペラじゃねいか? I’d put mine more like 2.5 to 3/5. 😀
Important enough to consider studying japanese.
I would rate my own Japanese-speaking skills 5 out of 5, which is a good thing, since I have to speak it for a living. I’m a freelance interpreter! So, needless to say, it is very important to me. 😉
I find it important 5/5 personally so that I can communicate with my JP family members and make JP friends. My ability is probably 4
0-1 for ability, 3 for importance. Mainly, I’d like to be conversant, but not so sure about being able to use it much where I live.
Importance for me 4 /5, ability, 2/5. ざんねんです
