Yes, absolutely. I like it especially in the summer when I am tan (I get very dark). It covers up my freckles.
    大好きですよ。特に夏の日焼けした肌は大好きです(私はとても黒くなります)、シミやほくろが目立たなくなるので。

Yes because it’s always been easy to tan. 🙂 My Japanese genes in that sense, not that all Japanese have plenty of melanin, some people are pale, right?, overtakes my dad’s side which is a mixture of various Euro ethnicities but a DNA test did say he’s 8% Central Asian.

I hope you are happy with yours, Juma!

    Dear Sugimoto,

I am half Sri Lankan, half Japanese, so like you, I have darker skin. I used to dream about having lighter skin when I was younger, but as a Canadian, I am lucky to live in a society that embraces diversity. I’m a bit older now, and I love my tanned skin. Yours is beautiful – you should too! In the end, the colour of your skin does not matter at all to the wonderful person you are inside.

I am not an African hafu but sometimes I happen to want to pick lighter color foundation than my actual skin tone. I know that I should embrace my own skin color, but somehow that is very hard.
